A MUSIC festival is set to double in size when it returns next year.
The Enjoy Music Festival will return to Hazlehead Park for the second year in a row next June.
Event organiser, Russell Aitchison said: “It’s a really good date for us. It moves us out of the main festival season. This gives us a lot more pulling power.”
Headliners for the event, which takes place on Saturday June 4, will be announced and the first tickets will be released on Tuesday, November 24.
Russell said: “It’s quite early for festivals but we’re trying to get in ahead of the game.
“We’ll double the amount of acts from last year – more headliners plus a major headline band.”
A total of 2,300 attended this year’s festival and 2,500 tickets were sold.
Russell said: “If we sold that many last time, what’s to say we can’t do 5,000 this time and double it?”
Last summer was the first time the festival took place, but it is now looking to become an annual event.
The Enjoy Music Festival 2015 was headlined by Pendulum and Katy B.
First release tickets will cost £26.90 and the second release ones £29.90.
The festival will run from 2pm until 11pm.
