TRAIN services are facing disruption tonight following the closure of the Aberdeen to Dundee line due to flooding.
ScotRail has closed the line due to flooding problems in various areas including Laurencekirk.
All Aberdeen services between Dundee, Glasgow, and Edinburgh have been affected.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said: “Due to prolonged, heavy rainfall, the rail line between Aberdeen and Dundee is currently blocked due to flooding.
“As a result trains are unable to run at this time and we are in the process of organising bus replacement services to help customers get to where they need to be.
“We will also be doing all that we can to keep people informed online, via station and train announcements and through social media.”
