The date for this year’s Pedal on Parliament has been announced.
Members from Aberdeen Cycle Forum, which campaigns for better cycling infrastructure in the area, will take part.
The event takes place on April 28 at 11am, beginning at Marischal College.
Those participating will begin an hour-long circuit starting from Broad Street, travelling down Upperkirkgate, Rosemount Viaduct and Union Terrace, before joining Union Street and returning to Broad Street.
Each loop is 1.59km, with people encouraged to do as many laps in the time as they can.
A statement by the group said: “None of the streets in the circuit have any cycling infrastructure but all would benefit from it.
“Union Street is the location of the Union Street bike path petition.
“With hundreds of us cycling this circuit together for one hour, we can enjoy the benefits of safety in numbers.”
