An Aberdeen chip shop devastated in a fire has risen from the ashes to win a national award.
Sea Salt + Sole in Dyce was hit by a blaze in 2015 but reopened last March after an extensive refit.
Now the business has been recognised with a National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) Fish and Chip Quality award.
Owners Rikki and Gillian Pirie said they were pleased to reel in the prize.
Rikki said: “To be recognised by the NFFF is indeed an honour and a credit to our hardworking staff to whom I would like to offer my sincere thanks for their continued hard work and efforts.”
