Movie fans are being offered the chance to go to a special screening of a blockbuster film to raise money for charity.
International children’s charity Child.org is inviting families to an immersive showing of 2017’s Beauty and the Beast.
The classic Disney tale will be shown at the specially-decorated Foodstory Project on Thistle Street.
Run in partnership with Spectacular Events, the screening will give fans the chance to enter the fictional castle for the evening.
Victoria McCormick, organiser of the event from Child.org, said: “Guests will be able to sing along and enjoy popcorn at this one-time, unique film screening.
“Fancy dress is encouraged and popcorn and refreshments will be provided for the kids so mums and dads can relax at the back, or sing along at the front if they wish.
“Beauty and the Beast is one of Disney’s classic fairytales and this is a great opportunity for families to revisit the magic of the 2017 film in a fun, new way.
“There will be a special Beauty and the Beast goody bag for the kids to take away. You never know, Princess Belle may even make an appearance.”
Tickets for the event on April 22 cost £15 for an adult and are available at https://bit.ly/2GvWDuU
