An Aberdeen bus service is being affected while work to repair power lines takes place.
First Aberdeen has advised passengers that Stoneywood Road, Bankhead Road and Bankhead Avenue will be shut southbound for the next few weeks.
And though buses are exempt from the closure, they will not be able to pick up or drop off passengers on the road, so passengers using the 17 service from Faulds Gate to Dyce will have to use other stops.
Scottish and Southern Energy is carrying out the works to repair power lines in the road.
Aberdeen City Council has put in place an order which will prevent southbound traffic on Stoneywood Road between New Stoneywood Road and Bankhead Road until 10pm on December 5.
The order says: “An alternative route is available via the A947 New Stoneywood Road, the A96 Inverurie Road, Bankhead Avenue and Bankhead Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by Scottish and Southern Energy.”
