Aberdeen-born star Sophie Kennedy will take part in a Christmas celebration for charity.
The actress, who co-starred in BBC drama The Cry, will take part in the Guid Noel at St Machar’s Cathedral tomorrow.
Featuring Sophie’s mother Fiona Kennedy among the performers, the night will raise funds for social care charity VSA’s mental health services in Aberdeen.
Sophie said: “I’m really excited about coming home, I don’t come home enough. I’ve forgotten what the stars look like – you don’t really see them in London.
“It’s going to be a really fun, glorious evening, so come and celebrate and smile with lots of other people who are doing it for a great cause.”
Sophie will be reading festive-related poems during the evening which will also feature VSA’s Sing, Sing, Sing choirs. It starts at 7pm tomorrow in St Machar’s Cathedral.
