Four North-east hair and beauty firms have proved they’re a cut above the rest after bringing home six top awards at a national competition.
Kyle Ross from The Huntsman in Aberdeen won the coveted Men’s Stylist of the Year award.

And Ruby Tuesday Hair and Beauty’s Megan Williams was named Junior Stylist of the Year and Yasmine Bhegani took home the Beautician of the Year title.
West End barber, The Men’s Emporium was crowned Best Barber for Scotland after winning the title for the north of the country.
Aqueous Beauty Salon in Peterhead was named Beauty Salon of the Year North East.
In a post on social media, the salon thanked their customers for their support, writing: “Thank you so much to all our amazing clients and to everyone who voted! Big thanks to our incredible team who are the best team we could ever wish for.”
The five winners were revealed in front of a 700 guests from the industry at a glitzy ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Sunday.
