An Aberdeen pub is to be renamed after a £500,000 revamp.
The Moorings Bar on Trinity Quay has been turned into a new Hawaiian tiki-themed cocktail bar.
Work started to expand and improve The Moorings in 2013.
And following the expansion of the popular pub’s dance floor and stage, work is nearing completion on the bar which has been open for about 50 years.
A new name will be given to The Moorings as part of plans to give the bar a makeover and will specialise in tiki cocktails.
From Monday, it will be called Krakatoa.
As well as cocktails, the bar, which will continue to host live music, will offer 42 draft lines for beers and ciders.
It will also sell 10 imported world beers, seven different types of Belgian and fruit beers as well as seven cask ciders.
