Wake to the Mediterranean sun and enjoy an early morning swim in crystal clear waters. Breakfast will be served on the aft deck then perhaps another swim before you set sail.
Stopping in a quiet cove you can enjoy the area by hiking, canoeing, snorkeling or sunbathing on deck. You will enjoy a leisurely lunch before setting sail again.
Your next anchorage may be visiting a local village or island to explore fascinating ancient ruins, experience local culture, learn about the amazing history of the area or maybe wander through the local shops.
Once on-board you will sail again to a quiet bay where you can enjoy evening cocktails, chat about the days events before sitting down to an exceptional culinary experience.
After dinner relax or maybe challenge your captain to a backgammon tournament. That evening you may choose to sleep on deck and enjoy the most spectacular star filled night skies and possibly have the best sleep you’ve ever had.
Tomorrow you will begin again with new sights and new opportunities for exploring. Guests usually depart saying they haven’t been this relaxed in years. That’s what the MedSea Yachts Experience is all about.
This is a unique holiday that you can make as adventurous or relaxed as you like. It will take you to unspoiled areas of the Turquoise Coast of Turkey and the Dodecanese Islands of Greece.
You visit some of the cleanest waters in the world where beautiful shades of the sea mingle with the evergreen forest coastline and unique limestone cliffs. Everyday a new cove or a new bay is waiting to be explored.
MedSea Yachts have exceptional holidays on a crewed yacht (gulet) that ensure your every need is attended to by a professional crew of Captain, Chef and Sailors. Each gulet has a selection of water sports available for the guests including snorkel equipment, fishing lines and canoes. MedSea ES Canada has additional motorized watersports available including waterskiing, wakeboarding, jet ski, ringo/tube rides.
There are two ways to enjoy a MedSea Yachts cruise; private charter or cabin charter. The private charter provides guests with the entire yacht solely for their use. The cabin charters allow smaller groups, couples or solo travellers to join others on the yachts by renting one or more cabins.
There are standard itineraries for the Turkish Coast and the Dodecanese Islands plus routes can be customized on private charters. One of the most popular cruises is the Turquoise Coast of Turkey plus 2 Greek islands as guests enjoy two countries as part of their cruise. Crews are local to the area and know where all the spectacular hidden bays are located. Cruises start and end on Saturdays with a duration of one or two weeks.
At MedSea Yachts customer service is the cornerstone of the business. They continuously strive to ensure their clients vacations are exceptional and memorable by paying attention to the details. MedSea’s gulets are continuously maintained and upgraded so they are the best in their class. Photos of the MedSea gulets on their website are current so you won’t be surprised when you arrive.
The cuisine in Turkey and Greece is well known for its presentation and flavor. Your on-board chef takes pride in creating each meal with fresh local ingredients. Our evening dinner includes many salads and vegetable dishes plus the Captain may grill for the guests, perhaps chicken, beef, lamb, seafood or the local catch of the day. The chef is happy to cater to your dietary requirements and they are vegan friendly.
Your vacation can be organized to fit your budget by offering a variety of pricing options and gulet types. Pricing will include sailing/crew costs, port/agency fees and taxes plus it can also include meals and beverages. If a MedSea gulet is not available, they have partners with every class of gulet, from the standard/economy gulet to Luxury and VIP gulets. They can arrange the right option for you, whatever your budget is. This is a very affordable vacation and isn’t just for the rich and famous.
MedSea Yachts owns and operates 2 yachts (Turkish gulets). They are both traditional wooden gulets that were built in Bozburun and Marmaris, Turkey by local craftsmen which use skills that have been handed down over many generations. Turkish gulets are known for their broad beam which provides a very stable and comfortable experience for our guests. Each cabin has air conditioning as well as their own en-suite bathroom including a shower. The gulets have a salon, dining and lounge area on the aft deck, sunbed decks and lounging area on the forward decks.
