Life never seems to go according to plan – just ask Ross Brackenridge.
Back in 2009 Ross, along with his brother Steve, bought this fabulous townhouse, off plan, when the Kepplestone development was being built.
But the brothers’ vision for it to be a bachelor pad was to be short-lived.
Ross, 42, a software products expert with Lloyds Register, said: “My brother Steve would often be working in Norway, so rather than us buying two flats, we decided to pool together and buy this place.
“But then I met my future wife, Laura, and Steve met a girl in Norway.”
Its easy to see why both Ross and Steve would be impressed with this property which spans three floors.
The ground floor has a versatile double bedroom, cloakroom and utility room.
The lounge, kitchen/diner and other cloakroom are on the first floor, while the master bedroom, en-suite, two further bedrooms and family bathroom complete the layout of the top floor.
Ross and his wife Laura, 41, have really looked after the property well, and it is in tip-top condition.
In terms of decoration, they have kept things simple with clean tones, complemented by neutral carpets, laminates and Amtico tiles.
It’s a home of firsts. Ross and Laura married while living there and also became parents to Brodie, who is now three-and-a-half.
The Brackenridges have decided to up-sticks and head for the countryside so Brodie can seek out many new and great adventures.
