It was to take Stuart Morrison quite a bit of convincing to get his wife Stacy to view their mid-terraced home in 2014.
For upon her first impression, Stacy, was certain it would be far too small for their needs… but boy was she in for a pleasant surprise.
Stacy, 28, said: “Stuart really had to plead with me to view it, and I am so glad I did because as soon as I stepped over the threshold I fell in love with it.
“It is such a light and airy house but, even better, it is so deceptively spacious.”
At the time of moving in, the couple who tied the knot last year, had yet to even get engaged, making their home a first for them both.
The accommodation comprises a lounge, dining kitchen, two double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Since making No 16 home, the Morrisons have increased their numbers with the arrival of their gorgeous golden retriever, Murphy.
And it is because they hope to start a family soon, they are pinning their hopes on relocating to Inverurie to be closer to both sets of families.
Both the lounge and superb bathroom are Stacy’s favourite rooms, and where she likes to spend most of her time.
“I just love sitting on the sofa by the window, chilling out watching TV, and also soaking in the Jacuzzi, went on Stacy.
“The bathroom has underfloor heating, so it is especially cosy during the winter months. “
Since moving in Stacy and Stuart, 27, an offshore material co-ordinator with Blue Water, have redecorated practically every room and also laid new carpets throughout most rooms.
“We will both miss this house as we really do have some fantastic memories of our time here, said Stacy.
“But it’s onwards and upwards for us and we are excited at the prospect of starting our family once we get settled in our new home.”
