When Terri and partner Les first walked through the door of 28 Wellington Drive, they knew the search for their new home was over.

“My partner and I were originally searching for homes in Aberdeen, but after a friend of mine told me about the new Claymore Homes in Peterhead we decided to have a look,” said Terri, 62.
“Both of us instantly fell in love with the penthouse because there was so much potential for it to be a fantastic forever home.
“I loved picking out furniture to fit the space and went all out in my designs.
“I was even asked whether my line of work was interior design, which made me smile because it reassured me that I did a good job.
“In fact, in the first year of staying here we had a lot of people in the community asking to look at the house to see what we had done with the place, and a lot of them said they were jealous of its interior,” she laughed.

Although regretful to be moving, the couple are relocating to be closer to family.
“We are searching for homes in the Bridge of Don area to be nearer my mum, who has been in care for a short time,” said Terri.
“I’m sad to be leaving and will definitely miss the property, but family is everything.”
