On a bright spring day, I took a walk from the city centre towards the beach and this appealing cafe caught my eye.
This bright and inviting eatery is set within the same building as Bon Accord Care’s offices and the cafe itself is run by Inspired Ventures, a charity offering training to people looking to get into work.
It didn’t take long for me to be led to a table by the window – it was so busy even on a Monday lunchtime that I grabbed the last spot in the cafe.
The menu is varied, offering high tea, paninis and soup and a wide range of soft drinks. I went for the small vegetarian breakfast (£4.95) and a glass of coke (£2).
It was pleasing that the staff were willing to tailor make the breakfast, swapping hash browns and eggs for mushrooms and tomatoes.
The service was fuss free and the food was very tasty. It was well worth the pit stop on the way to the seaside.
