Comedian Kevin Bridges is coming to Aberdeen to save the world.
The acclaimed Scottish comedian will bring his Brand New tour to the AECC for two nights on December 15 and 16.
The funnyman said: “It’s been three years since my last tour, three tough years of watching the world fall apart thus, I’ve decided, I need to get out of the house more and lend a hand in saving it.
“With amusing anecdotes and witty observations, I’m sure I can save the world – or at least provide a decent enough night out. We’ll see. I’ll catch you there folks. Yaldy”
Tickets for his Aberdeen gigs are expected to be in demand when they go on sale on Wednesday.
When Kevin last played the AECC, in 2015, he packed out the arena every night over a successful nine-day run.
Louise Stewart, director of sales and marketing for the AECC, said: “Kevin has a legion of fans across the North-east who will be delighted to welcome him back.
“After the success of his nine-day residency at the AECC in 2015, we have no doubt tickets for his December dates will be snapped up.”
Kevin will be in Aberdeen as part of his biggest tour to date, which includes 18 nights at the SSE Hydro in his home city of Glasgow.
The comedian is no stranger to breaking box office records.
When his 2015 tour went on sale it won awards as the fastest selling comedy ticket of the year, going on to sell 500,000 tickets across 145 dates.
His 2012 tour also smashed records with an astonishing 45,000 tickets sold in one day.
Kevin spent last year performing a string of sold-out dates in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Dubai.
When not touring he is a familiar face on TV, including Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
He has also hosted highly-praised BBC documentaries on the Scottish indepedence referendum and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
