Scottish blues rockers King King are on a roll and are ready to rock when they headline at Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree on Sunday night.
And singer Alan Nimmo is relishing the Granite City return.
He said: “The last time we were up in Aberdeen it was a great night and the Lemon Tree is a fantastic venue.”
King King will be playing all the fans’ favourites, as well as some new material from their imminent album release.
Nimmo said: “There will be a single released next month. It’s rockier than our previous material, but it still has an inherent King King sound to it.”
The band scooped five awards at the British Blues Awards for Best Male Vocal, Best Bass Player, Best Song, (Rush Hour), Best Album (Reaching for The Light) and Best Songwriter.
