A COMPANY has constructed Aberdeen FC’s home ground from Lego.
The model of Pittodrie Stadium has been produced by brickstand.co.uk, who specialise in football stadiums made from the Danish bricks.
Chris Smith, owner of brickstand.co.uk, said the Pittodrie idea came from a fan.
He said: “It was requested by a fan. Pittodrie is by far the most popular thing on my site, way more popular than any English grounds or the other Scottish ones.”
Other stadiums available on brickstand include Hampden Park, Ibrox and Celtic Park, as well as a number of other stadiums.
The model of the home of the Dons is £279.99.
It’s not the first time the Dons have been transformed into Lego.
Earlier this year city business Printagraph designed and produced a Lego set that depicts the bus from the Union Street parade in 2014, after the Dons victory over Caley Thistle in the Scottish League Cup.
