Police issue travel advice for Dons fans heading to Perth

McDiarmid Park

Police Scotland has issued advice to Dons fans travelling to Perth this weekend.

Aberdeen are due to face St Johnstone on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership at McDiarmid Park.

Fans arriving by bus, coach or car are advised that they will be directed back onto the A9, where they will take the new slip road behind the stadium’s south stand.

They will then follow the road through the North Gate, where parking stewards will direct them to the west side of an artificial sports pitch.

If the car park is full, supporters will be encouraged to find on street parking.

Following the end of the game, Dons fans will be able to exit the car park using a gate at the south-east of the ground, using the slip road at the Newhouse Roundabout to get onto the A9.
