Kilmarnock have lost their appeal against the red card shown to defender Kirk Broadfoot in Saturday’s 1-0 Premiership loss to Aberdeen.
Kilmarnock were reduced to eight men as Rory McKenzie and Stuart Findlay were also dismissed by referee Steven McLean at Rugby Park.
McKenzie’s violent conduct red card for reacting to a challenge from Aberdeen defender Dom Ball has been downgraded to a yellow on appeal.
Defender Broadfoot was sent off for a studs up lunge at Dons goalkeeper Joe Lewis in the first half.
Former Scotland international Broadfoot will now be unavailable until the final game of the campaign after being banned for three matches.
