Tansey loan move to Ross County from Aberdeen confirmed

Aberdeen midfielder Greg Tansey will spend the rest of the season on loan at Ross County, both clubs have confirmed.

The 29-year-old midfielder only joined the Dons on a three-year deal after leaving the Staggies highland rivals Inverness Caley Thistle in the summer, but has been plagued by injury problems, undergoing surgery on his groin in November, most recently.

He has made just ten starts for the Pittodrie side.

County boss Owen Coyle, in a statement on the Dingwall side’s website, said: “I am delighted to bring such a talented and experienced player as Greg to the club. He has excelled in the Ladbrokes Premiership for a number of years and I look forward to working with him.”
