The Dons are set to sign Manchester United striker James Wilson on loan, according to reports.
The 22-year-old burst onto the scene at Old Trafford with two goals on debut against Hull City in 2014 and reportedly had a medical at Pittodrie yesterday.
Wilson was handed a four-year contract – which runs out next summer – by then United boss Louis Van Gaal in 2015.
In the 2015-16 season he netted five goals during a loan spell with Brighton in the Championship.
The following season he was again sent out on loan this time to Derby County, but in October 2016 he injured his anterior cruciate ligament and had a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
In January the former England Under-21 striker joined Sheffield United on loan, playing nine games and scoring one goal.
