Dons turn down THIRD bid from Hull for McKenna

Aberdeen's Scott McKenna in action.

Aberdeen have rejected a third bid from Hull City for Scott McKenna.

The Tigers lodged another bid for the centre-back this afternoon but the Dons have turned it down.

The Championship side’s manager Nigel Adkins is keen to land the 21-year-old and was at Ibrox last night watching McKenna in action against Rangers.

Hull submitted two bids during the winter break for McKenna believed to be around £300,000 and this latest undisclosed offer shows how keen they are on the Scotland Under-21 cap.

However Reds boss Derek McInnes stated after the first two bids that McKenna will not be leaving Pittodrie and that is still of the Dons after this latest offer.
