Dons star Kari Arnason named joint highest Scottish Premiership player in FIFA 18

Aberdeen’s Kari Arnason has become the joint highest rated player in the Scottish Premiership on FIFA 18’s Ultimate Team.

He is rated 78 an upgrade from his regular 70 rated card.

Arnason is included in this week’s Team of The Week after his performances for Iceland during the international break.

He scored in his country’s 3-0 win over Turkey on Friday.

The Iceman becomes the highest rated dons player ever in FIFA Ultimate team, overtaking Adam Rooney who accomplished the feat last week.

This is the first time Aberdeen have had back to back in-form players.

He is equal to Rangers’ Bruno Alves as the highest rated player in the SPFL.

Last season in FIFA 17 whilst playing for Malmo FF, Arnason was given a 72 rated in-form card.

During his last spell with the Dons back in FIFA 12 his card was rated 64 and he was a midfield player rather than the defender he is now.

Evaluating his 78 rated card, key stats are his 85 shot power, 89 jumping, 89 interceptions and an incredible 92 strength.

He is hampered by being a little slow with only 40 pace. All stats are out of 99.

He will likely cost Ultimate team players around 9500 coins which is close to discard price for a gold rated in form.
