Derek McInnes delighted Dons will face Dundee United at Pittodrie

Aberdeen's Adam Rooney celebrates scoring against Dundee United the last time the two teams met at Pittodrie.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes was pleased the Dons landed another home tie in the fifth-round draw for the Scottish Cup.

The draw took place at Tynecastle and matched them with Championship outfit Dundee United.

The tie will be played on the weekend of February 10/11.

McInnes said: “I’m delighted that we have been drawn at home again.

“It’s a good draw similar to the last round.

“Games between ourselves and United were always close affairs when both teams were in the Premiership and I’m sure the fans will look forward to this one.”
