Aberdeen will today discover their opponents in the Europa League second qualifying round.
The Dons will be seeded for today’s draw at the Uefa headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
Aberdeen will know their potential opponents when the second qualifying round draw is made at 1.30pm. The first qualifying round draw is at noon.
Derek McInnes’ Dons are one of 16 teams that enter in the second qualifying round, joining the 50 winners from the first round.
Of those 16 teams entering, 12 including Aberdeen are seeded.
Aberdeen could potentially be drawn against any of the four unseeded clubs – Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv (Israel), FC Dinamo Brest (Belarus), Östersunds FK (Sweden) or SK Brann (Norway).
The groupings for the second qualifying round are made after the first qualifying round draw.
There are a number of potentially tough ties awaiting Aberdeen as they could be drawn against Kairat Almaty should the Kazakhstan side win their first qualifying round tie.
Aberdeen were knocked out by Kairat Almaty at the third qualifying round stage in 2015/16 and faced a mammoth away journey.
Another potentially tricky tie the Reds could land is 31-time Bulgarian league champions CSKA Sofia.
They could also land a trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina as FK Sarajevo and city rivals FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo could also be potential opponents.
