Aberdeen FC tonight announced the signing of Bournemouth striker Jayden Stockley.
The 22-year-old will join the Dons at the end of the season after signing a pre-contract agreement with the club.
The striker was due to be out of contract in the summer and has scored 10 goals in League Two since joining Exeter City on loan in January.
Stockley made his Bournemouth debut as a 15-year-old in 2009, but last played for the club when they were in League One in March 2012.
The new Aberdeen striker said the prospect of playing in Europe was a major factor in his decision to sign for the Dons.
He said: “To get the opportunity to be involved in European football was a big part of coming here and also the plans the manager outlined for the future which are really exciting.”
