Aberdeen’s Graeme Shinnie and Scott McKenna have been confirmed in the Scotland starting line-up to face Kazakhstan in today’s Euro 2020 qualifier in Astana (3pm).
Pittodrie skipper Shinnie will make his first competitive start for Scotland in winning his sixth international cap.
The 27-year-old will start at left-back as national boss Alex McLeish was been hit by an injury crisis in that position during the build up to the opening Euro 2020 qualifier.
McLeish lost Scotland captain Andrew Robertson following treatment to a dental abscess while Kieran Tierney is also ruled out with a pelvic problem.
Centre-back McKenna has shrugged off tightness in a thigh to start in Astana for his ninth cap.
