Aberdeen to face Celtic in Scottish Cup final


Aberdeen will face Celtic in the final of the Scottish Cup. The league champions defeated Rangers 2-0 to set-up a clash with the Dons. Aberdeen secured their spot in the final following a 3-2 win over Hibs yesterday. The final takes place at Hampden Park on Saturday, May 27.

Suspected war bomb discovered near cemetery


A war bomb is thought to have been discovered near a cemetery. Police were alerted to the device near Oakenheads Cemetery in Lossiemouth at 9.50am. A Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit is expected to arrive in the area at 4pm. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A member of the public originally alerted us.”
