ABERDEEN FC have completed the signing of Kenny McLean from St Mirren for 275,000.
The two Premiership clubs agreed a deal, which include 25,000 of clauses, today.The 23-year-old travelled up to Pittodrie from Paisley to agree personal terms and undergo a medical.The former Scotland Under-21 player had 18 months left on his contract at St Mirren.https://twitter.com/AberdeenFC/status/562304266711605248In January, League One side Fleetwood Town had a 150,000 bid rejected for McLean, one of Scottish football’s most highly-rated players.Dons boss Derek McInnes said: “I’m delighted we’ve managed to secure Kenny on a long term deal. He’s a good young player who is still improving all the time and I think in our team he will go and show how good a player he can be.
“We’ve signed a good player to come and play with the good players already here and it’s a real positive signing for us.
“I’d like to thank the board and the chairman for their support.
“I think this is the sort of signing that a club like Aberdeen should be making.”
