DEDICATED Dons fans are snapping up coaches to see Aberdeen FC play for League Cup glory – before they even know their team is through to the final.

North-east bus companies today told the Evening Express how the Red Army have been pre-booking transport to the Scottish League Cup final on March 16 – before the semi-final has even taken place.

Aberdeen will face St Johnstone tomorrow at Tynecastle in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup.

Shona McMasters, transport manager for Kintore-based Premier Coaches, said: “We had got about five provisional bookings for the final by Thursday.”

Central Coaches general manager Cameron Loggie also confirmed the firm was “into double numbers” for coach bookings for the final.

More than 12,000 Dons fans are expected to turn up for their team’s last-four clash tomorrow.

Poor reporting again, Not uncommon for supports clubs to book buses in advance as it doesnt cost anything to cancel them.
