£60,000 Ferrari smashes into tree

A FERRARI was left mangled after it hit a tree on a busy Aberdeen street.
The front of the sleek silver sports car was bashed and broken after the smash on the city’s Great Southern Road.
Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists looked on after the car, which costs up to £100,000, hit the tree.
No one was thought to be hurt in the incident, which saw the front left tyre come off the private-reg vehicle.
In another incident, a woman suffered minor injuries after her Volkswagen Polo hit a wall today.
The smash happened near the Mill of Beltie bridge in Glassel, near Banchory.
Paramedics took the patient to a local doctor’s surgery after the crash, which happened around 10.40am.
And a car careered off a road in another crash today.
The accident happened on the A96 Aberdeen to Huntly road, north of Inveramsay Bridge, near Inverurie at 5.50am. No one was injured.
Meanwhile, two men were charged after a city centre crash.
Three parked cars and a wall were damaged on Aberdeen’s Holburn Street.
