A BUMPER Aberdeen lottery prize of more than £120,000 has not been claimed.

The winning National Lottery ticket was bought in an Aberdeen shop.

But the North-east punter has yet to come forward to claim their prize.

Players were today urged to check their tickets before it is too late.

The lucky buyer matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Saturday, August 9, scooping £121,340.

On the night, the winning Lotto numbers were 9, 10, 17, 29, 33, 40 and the bonus ball was 15.

But the National Lottery refused to say where exactly the ticket had been bought.

The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Thursday, February 5 next year to make their claim.

But if nobody comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline then the money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes fund.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings. This amazing prize could really make a difference to somebody’s life.”

Last year shop manager Neil Murray scooped a whopping £4 million from a lucky dip ticket. He bought his ticket in Kelly of Cults Costcutter on North Deeside Road, where he had been working as assistant manager.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call 0845 910 0000.
