Cove dynamo Coutts set to join Peterborough
Paul going on one-way ticket

COVE midfielder Paul Coutts hopes he has landed a one-way ticket to a dream deal with Peterborough.
The 19-year-old will join Darren Ferguson’s League One side for pre-season training next Tuesday.
Coutts has already spent a week with The Posh and will return south desperate to win a permanent contract.
But the Highland League Player of the Year revealed he is not yet sure when he will be coming home.
Coutts said: “I don’t know exactly how long I will be going down for because I’ve got the flight details and it’s only one way.
“I presume I will be down there for a week or maybe two.
“Hopefully I will be able to get a contract.
“If I don’t get a deal then maybe I could be paying my own way home,” he joked.
Coutts’ first day of training will come after Peterborough return from a pre-season camp in the Spanish resort of Marbella.
The talented teenager reckons the Posh players will all be in peak physical condition when they arrive back in England.
But Coutts is confident he will not be left behind in the fitness stakes by the professionals.
The midfield dynamo has even stopped working full-time as a sub-sea engineer and is putting in plenty of gym work to prepare for his spell at Peterborough.
He said: “I have started pre-season training with Cove and I’ve done about six sessions so far.
“I’ve been doing a bit of work by myself as well, so hopefully I will be fit and raring to go.
“I presume they will all be really fit by the time they get back from Marbella.”
Meanwhile, Cove have signed Stuart McKenzie and Phil Reid on two-year deals from Montrose.
Cove boss John Sheran is looking for McKenzie to challenge Lee Windrum to be the first-choice goalkeeper at Allan Park.
He said: “There is going to be good competition between Stuart and Lee for the No1 position.”
Reid spent last season on loan at Cove and Sheran believes he will be a good addition.
Sheran said: “Phil can play in midfield or attack so he is very versatile.”
