Boyzone entertain Aberdeen audience
Irishmen back to best
Published:
IRISH superstars Boyzone exploded into life on the stage of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Women who had loved the boys in their youth, reverted to their 15-year-old selves for the night.
Following Take That’s example, Boyzone are the latest boyband on the come back trail.
And they did it in style.
Frontman Ronan Keating made women swoon as he worked his Irish charm on the adoring audience.
He shouted over the hordes of screaming females: “Aberdeen it’s amazing to be back here, thank you so much for being an amazing audience!”
The lads proved they’re as fit as ever as they danced to such classics as Different Beat and Picture of You.
Stephen Gately melted hearts with a version of Bright Eyes, and Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham, drove fans wild with their silky dance moves.
Covers including Love Me For A Reason, and Words had fans singing in unison, and the band gave a taste of their new single I Can’t Stop Thinking About You.
“We’re so glad to be back,” cried Ronan.
