Kate and Gin had the crowd stunned with their fabulous performance to the Scissor Sisters’ I Don’t Feel Like Dancing.
Andrew Muir had the audience singing along with Paolo Nutini’s Last Request and when he returned later, wearing a kilt, he received a big Scottish cheer.
The Cheeky Monkeys produced an energetic performance and Faryl Smith gave a rendition of Ave Maria.
The dance group Nemesis gave a step-perfect routine to a variety of R’n’B and hip hop songs and Escala wowed the audience with their stringed instruments.
The loudest cheer of the night was reserved for the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2008 – George Sampson.
With the crowd happily on their feet, George performed his winning routine to the hit Singin’ In The Rain, which sent everyone home smiling.
