THOUSANDS of fans gathered in Glasgow today to say farewell to Celtic legend Tommy Burns at his funeral.

Kenny Dalglish, Alex McLeish, Roy Keane and Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson were among the famous football faces who also paid their last respects to Burns, who died at home last Thursday aged 51.

Mourners began arriving two hours before the requiem mass at St Mary’s church in Calton Thousands of fans also gathered outside Celtic Park to await the funeral cortege.
