Stripper Stuart back in court... again

A “POLICE officer” stripper cleared of carrying an offensive weapon in public is to appear in court again – after he was arrested while dressed as a soldier.
Stuart Kennedy, who performs under the name of Sergeant Eros, now faces a breach of the peace charge.
He was arrested while wearing a military-style outfit with a beret and body armour that was branded with alphamalestrippers.co.uk in the city’s Belmont Street.
He was between performances and was on his way to meet a friend when stopped by police outside a nightclub.
Mr Kennedy was cleared of carrying offensive weapons in a public place after a trial last year.
He had been dressed as a police officer for a job and his case was thrown out at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after it was ruled he had a “reasonable excuse” to carry the batons and spray.
Appeal judges backed the decision last month and the Crown Office then dropped charges against Mr Kennedy for a case that had been due to call on May 12.
The 25-year-old student is now to appear at the city’s sheriff court on June 12.
A police spokeswoman said: “We can confirm a 25-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with an alleged breach of the peace on Aberdeen’s Belmont Street in the early hours of May 18.”
