THEY are Irish, attractive and sing about how much they want to be good boyfriends.

Westlife are any red-blooded woman's dream. And the ladies of Aberdeen were screaming to fever pitch as the boys took to the stage in cool aviator shades.

But they couldn't keep up the stony exterior for long and they soon stripped off their sexy jumpsuits to reveal the style more suited to their smooth pop tunes.

The lads looked suave in their three-piece suits as they ignited the AECC with an impressive light show and a rendition of World of Our Own.

They followed on with a song from their latest album Back Home. And the lyrics “If you want me I must be doing something right” certainly rang true with the screaming Aberdeen crowd. Fans waved homemade signs, and threw things onto the stage.

The veteran boyband were back in the Granite City for the Scottish leg of their 10th anniversary world tour.

But the boys were showing signs of jet lag, with Mark heaping praise on the ‘Glasgow’ crowd.

The four performed a surprising number of cover songs but a regular singalong was soon started with old classics like What Makes a Man, Swear It Again and If I Let You Go.

Picking Flying Without Wings, for the finale showed that Westlife still knew their audience well, ending with the promise of yet another album to come after this tour is done.
