Piccolo Pizza: Union Grove, Aberdeen

AN EVENING spent in the company of my friend Lesley usually involves a takeaway – less time spent cooking means more time spent chatting!
So cue a trip to Piccolo Pizza and the mouth-watering welcome of delicious aromas that greeted as us we stepped through the door.
We were both hungry and wasted no time dilly-dallying over what to have from the extensive menu, sticking to our favourites.
The 10in pepperoni and mozzarella cheese pizza (£6.20) I chose was simply divine. The base was thin and crisp, just the way a good pizza should be.
Lesley’s 10in Hawaiian pizza (£6.50) had a generous amount of cheese and bite-size pieces of ham and pineapple.
We ordered ribs (£5) too.
As an added bonus we were delighted to discover it was a buy-one-get- one-free deal on our pizza.
