THE Gothenburg Greats gathered in the Granite City again for a gala dinner in their honour.

Willie Miller, skipper of Aberdeen’s 1983 European Cup Winners’ Cup-winning side, headed the group at the black tie bash in the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Another dinner is being held at the venue tonight.

The AECC will also host a video re-run of the final for more than 1,000 Dons fans tomorrow. Tickets, priced £10, can be bought at the door.
