FOR a family meal this place has it all.
Inexpensive, quality food, friendly staff and a children’s play area.
Add regular appearances by cuddly mascot Brewster the Bear and you have an ideal trip out for kids and adults alike.
As I was hungry the mozzarella, black olive and sun-dried tomato burger sounded just the thing.
A refreshing spin on the veggie burger it arrived with fresh salad, golden potato wedges and coleslaw for just £6.99.
This unique tasting burger was packed with flavour, with the tomatoes to the fore.
My friend opted for the cherry tomato and olive arrabiato linguine (£5.99).
Smothered in a rich, tangy tomato sauce she loved it, describing the spicy kick as a “pleasant surprise”.
For pudding we shared the Chocolate Indulgence.
Served in a towering knickerbocker glory style glass it was loaded with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, drenched in dark sauce.
It was a tasty, but guilty, treat at just £3.75.
I opted for the Irish coffee, the perfect accompaniment to a lovely meal.
With a cool pint of Stella and a fresh orange and lemonade the bill came to a very reasonable £24.52.
It’s well worth a detour from Aberdeen for a quality, low cost meal with friendly service.
