Winners take on ‘The Stig’ on track in Aberdeen

TEN lucky readers had the chance to challenge Top Gear’s former Stig, Ben Collins, on the track at Aberdeen’s Kartstart.

To mark their 10-year anniversary Bibby Offshore Limited teamed up with the Evening Express so readers could enjoy the exhilarating challenge of racing a pro.

One winner Gail Irvine took nephew James Speight along for the ride and the pair had a blast.

The 48-year-old metering engineer said: “It was great. I thought I did really well so I was disappointed not to beat Ben.”

Stuart Melvin, 18, and brother Jamie, 21, got lucky after their mum Karen turned down her prize due to work commitments.
