ABERDEEN FC this afternoon confirmed keeper Jason Brown has left the club.
The Welsh international joined Aberdeen FC from Blackburn Rovers and made 28 first team appearances during his two years at Pittodrie.
Brown had fallen behind first choice keeper Jamie Lanfield in the pecking order with Aberdeen FC and has decided to return south of the border in the hope of getting more first team football.
Aberdeen FC chief executive Duncan Fraser said: “Jason made it clear to us he was keen to return to England and continue his career. He is a proud member of the Welsh International team and in order to maintain his place in the squad he feels it is vital for him to be playing every week.
“We wish Jason all the best with his future career.”
