Jimmy Savile ‘committed sex offence in North-east’

A WOMAN from the North-east is alleged to have been a victim of shamed BBC presenter Jimmy Savile.

The historical claims emerged as a joint report compiled by the Met Police and NSPCC was published today.

According to the shocking report, Savile is believed to have targeted five victims in Scotland, including a female in the Aberdeenshire area.

In total 214 crimes are alleged to have been committed across 28 police forces.
