NORTH-EAST singer Terry McDermott was today facing a nail-biting wait to learn if he has done enough to win The Voice USA.
The 36-year-old rocker sang his heart out in the live final on US screens, before facing a 24-hour wait for the live results show.
Terry pulled out all the stops, belting out three classic rock tunes in a bid to win the TV talent show.
He performed Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith, Broken Wings by Mr Mister and I Wanna Know What Love Is by Foreigner.
Terry, originally from Pitmedden, will find out in the early hours of tomorrow morning, UK time, if he has done enough to be crowned champion of The Voice USA and win $100,000 (£61,725) and a recording contract with Universal Records.
