Man hurt in van crash

A MAN was taken to hospital after being trapped in his van for nearly an hour following a road crash.

The accident happened at 7.10am just one mile from Banchory on the unclassified road between Crathes and Hirn.

Emergency crews were called out to the scene and the man was freed at 8am from his white Renault van.
