Crunch talks in bid to halt bus strike in Aberdeen at Christmas
Union to meet First Aberdeen bosses

CRUNCH talks were set to take place today in a bid to halt a potential Christmas strike by Aberdeen bus drivers.
Chiefs at operator First Aberdeen and representatives from Unite and ACAS were due to meet to discuss changes to pay.
First Aberdeen director and general manager Duncan Cameron said today: “We are looking forward to meeting union representatives and hope that we can reach an agreement as soon as possible.”
Unite regional officer Tommy Campbell said he was optimistic about the talks.
