Teenagers from Stonehaven school weather US storm

A GROUP of North-east pupils stranded in New York as Superstorm Sandy hit the city were today weathering the storm.
Teenagers from Stonehaven’s Mackie Academy were in the Big Apple taking part in a law competition when Superstorm Sandy hit.
At least 16 deaths were reported as Sandy slammed into the US east coast, knocking out power for millions of people.
The youngsters were today managing to ride out the storm in the Marriott Hotel in Brooklyn.
