DRIVERS were urged to take care as snowy conditions saw a spate of crashes across the region.
A car today hit a parked heavy goods vehicle on Aberdeen’s Wellington Road at about 4.45am.
The A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road was brought to a standstill by an accident on the outskirts of Inverurie when the southbound lane of the dual carriageway was blocked by two stuck lorries.
And a Vauxhall Corsa skidded off the road at about 3.10pm on the A981 Fraserburgh to New Deer road, while a Ford Fiesta overturned on the B979 Kintore to Hatton of Fintray road near Wester Fintray.
