Rupert Murdoch apologises to Hugh Grant over tweet about daughter

RUPERT Murdoch has apologised to Hugh Grant after he suggested on Twitter that the actor had abandoned his baby daughter. “Apologies to both parents,” he tweeted.

The News Corporation boss expressed his “regret” at what he said and added that he accepted Hugh Grant was closely involved in his child’s life.

Rupert Murdoch wrote on Twitter: “Hugh Grant states that he is deeply involved in his daughter’s life – I accept that, regret tweet on the matter. Apologies to both parents.”
